Conditions

1. Patent Types and Required Documents**:

   - Invention Patent**: Must include an invention patent request form, claims, and a specification.

   - Utility Model Patent**: Must include a utility model patent request form, claims, a specification, and drawings if applicable.

   - Design Patent**: Must include a design patent request form, photographs or images with brief descriptions.

2. Document Requirements**:

   - All application documents must be in Chinese, typed or printed with clear and neat handwriting, without alterations.

   - The type of application must be determined through the request form.

   - The request form must include applicant details and address.

   - According to patent laws or relevant regulations, individuals or legal entities must entrust an authorized agency to handle patent application procedures.

Other Information

1. Acceptance of patent applications from domestic entities or individuals via face-to-face submission or mail for invention, utility model, and design patents.

2. Acceptance of patent applications from residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan through domestic patent agencies for invention, utility model, and design patents.

3. Acceptance of divisional applications and priority claims for patent applications.

4. Acceptance of patent applications from overseas applicants via domestic agencies.

5. Direct submission of patent applications from overseas applicants is not accepted.

6. PCT applications are not accepted.

 Application Materials

1. Invention Patent Application**:

   Must include: invention patent request form, abstract, abstract drawings if applicable, specification, claims, specification drawings if applicable.

   If the invention involves amino acid or nucleotide sequences, the specification must include this sequence list as a separate part, with consecutive page numbering, and a CD or diskette complying with the requirements of the National Intellectual Property Office.

2. Utility Model Patent Application:

Must include: utility model patent request form, abstract, abstract drawings if applicable, specification, claims, specification drawings.

3. Design Patent Application**:

Must include: design patent request form, photographs or colored images (if color protection is requested), and a brief description of the design.

Deadline

Upon receipt of qualified paper patent application documents, a patent application acceptance notice, a fee reduction approval notice, or a notice to pay the application fee will be issued within 10 working days.

Quantity and Methods

There is no limit on quantity; applications are accepted as long as they meet the criteria.
