Introduction to Central African Republic COC

The Ministry of Commerce of the Central African Republic has launched a new Product Conformity Assessment (PCA) program, effective from March 1, 2021. This program signifies that a Certificate of Conformity will be a new requirement for exports to the Central African Republic. Products exported to the Central African Republic need to meet the requirements of this program and undergo pre-shipment inspection.

Procedure, Fees, and Timeline for Central African Republic COC Processing:

Procedure: Submission of documents, document review, inspection, certification issuance

It is recommended to start the process 1-2 weeks before shipment.

Different products may have different standards and requirements for COC certification. It is recommended to provide product names, types, and values for accurate quotations.

Import Tariffs

The maximum rate of tariff in percentage on any product is 30. The simple average tariff across all products is 15.99. The trade weighted average tariff is 16.44.
